Our Story
Grace and Mercy Establishment was founded in 2011 and received federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2023. The organization was established to provide structured support, advocacy, and healing services to individuals and families impacted by trauma and behavioral health challenges.
Over time, the need for accessible, community-based behavioral health services for youth became increasingly evident. In response, The YOUth Culture Club was developed as a therapeutic division of Grace and Mercy Establishment to provide structured behavioral health interventions for children and adolescents ages 5–17.
The YOUth Culture Club operates within North Carolina’s Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Agency, delivering medically necessary services designed to improve emotional regulation, behavioral stability, and family functioning. What began as a vision rooted in healing through creative expression has evolved into a clinically structured program that integrates therapeutic engagement strategies with individualized treatment planning and licensed clinical oversight.
The program is housed in a centrally located facility in downtown Gastonia, allowing youth to access community-based services in an environment that supports both engagement and therapeutic progress. While creativity remains a tool for engagement, all services are assessment-driven, goal-oriented, and focused on measurable clinical outcomes.
Today, Grace and Mercy Establishment continues to expand its behavioral health services to ensure that youth and families have access to quality care, coordinated support, and trauma-informed treatment within their own community.
